Statement of Faith

ABOUT THE BIBLE

The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God. They are without error in the original writing and are the complete revelation of His will. They are for the salvation of humanity and are the divine and final authority for Christian faith and life.

ABOUT GOD AND THE TRINITY

There is one God. He is the Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

ABOUT JESUS CHRIST

Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead and ascended into Heaven, where He is now at the right hand of God the Father serving as our High Priest and advocate. We are anticipating His imminent return.

ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT

The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ: He endures this age to convict sinners and to regenerate the believing sinner, and He indwells, guides, instructs, and empowers the believer for godly living and service.

ABOUT SALVATION

The only path to salvation is through a personal faith in Jesus Christ and is apart from any human work, merit, or ceremony. Every person who does not receive salvation through Jesus Christ is doomed to be judged for all their sins and condemned to Hell.

ABOUT SERVING

Upon recognizing and receiving the salvation offered to us through Jesus Christ, we are called to minister to the needs of others, not just those in the Body of Christ.

ABOUT EVANGELISM

We believe that the ministry of evangelism is a responsibility of both the Church and each Christian.

ABOUT UNITY

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and that all true believers are members of His body, the Church.
