Our Missionaries
Brian felt God call him to become a missionary pilot back in 2001. Brian served as the leader of the Disaster International Relief Team (DIRT team) at Calvary Chapel St. Pete for eight years and has led multiple missionary trips all over the world. He has also worked with Samaritans Purse on many occasions. Brian has been married for 38 years and has two children and five grandchildren. Brian serves as our Chief Pilot.
Andres and Carla have been called by God to serve in missionary aviation since 2009. They understand the urgent need for air support among missionaries and isolated communities, recognizing how significantly it enhances the spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ. After dedicating seven years to their mission in Brazil, they moved to Florida in 2019. With Andres working as a skilled pilot and inspector mechanic, and Carla applying her communication talents, they continue their passionate mission with Harvest Aviation.
Victor and Darla D’Ettorre
Vic D’Ettorre is a dedicated missionary, pilot, and educator who has devoted his life to serving others and advancing the Kingdom of God.
In the 1980s, Vic served as a mission pilot with Air Serv International, providing vital support to remote communities in Mozambique.
After marrying his wife, Darla, the couple served as educators in Slovakia and Ukraine, sharing the hope of Christ through their commitment to teaching and discipleship. They also worked for Samaritan’s Purse in Haiti, supporting the local community through discipleship and educational development.
Vic and Darla join Harvest Aviation to continue their service mission, using aviation to further the Kingdom of God and support communities in need.
They have four adult children and five grandchildren.
While serving through short-term mission trips,
John and Andrea learned that missionaries can do very little without the support of others.
Through the years, a compassion for missionaries grew within them. Every year, God continued to show them the desperate need for support organizations. While attending the Sun and Fun Festival,l they walked by the Harvest Aviation table and read the shirt that said
“Serving those who Serve”.
They have been married 20 years and have four children: Mason, Lia, Tyler, and Charlotte.
Matthew first felt God calling him into ministry while he was in high school. He met his wife, Jolynn, during their freshman year, and they were married in 2021. They now have a daughter, Maya, who was
born on February 28, 2025. Together, Matthew and Jolynn have been deeply involved in youth ministry and serve in leadership within their church’s youth department. At the beginning of 2025, Matthew felt
God was leading him to take the next step and begin training with Harvest Aviation to become a missionary pilot. They are trusting God to guide their steps as Matthew works toward completing his training in the coming years. Their hearts are open to serve wherever God calls, and they are excited to follow His lead into the mission field as a family.
