Our Mission
Harvest Aviation’s mission is to act as a bridge between generous, good-spirited people who want to aid others in desperate need and our brothers and sisters who find themselves in painful physical, mental and spiritual circumstances. With you, we are taking the message of Jesus to those who don’t know it!
Our current area of operations is Central America and the Caribbean. In this area we carry out the following tasks: Humanitarian/Disaster Relief Flights, Missionary Care and Support Flights, and Training of Mission Pilots and Mission Aircraft Mechanics.
We carry out this mission and perform these tasks in the Holy Name of Jesus.
Our Vision
Harvest Aviation, with its donors and supporters, works to see that everyone in Central America and the Caribbean, has an opportunity to have their physical, mental, and spiritual needs met so that they may have a real chance at a meaningful and Jesus-led life.
Our Work
-
Air Support
We operate flights, as needed, through our Lifeline Service program to deliver supplies and equipment directly to the 72 missionaries we support so they can be more effective on the mission field. We also fly supplies and hospital equipment to two mission hospitals we support. Learn More!
-
Missionary Care
Being a missionary in our sphere of responsibility is both tremendously emotionally stressful and physically dangerous. Through Harvest’s Missionary Care Program, we provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support for missionaries and pastors, who are serving The Lord on the mission field.
-
Training
Harvest Aviation is exceptional in that it conducts both pilot training and mechanic training at its facilities under Federal Aviation Administration guidelines. These pilots and mechanics then enter the missionary aviation field and become part of the Christian mission to alleviate suffering and to deliver the message of Christ throughout the world.
It is also unusual for an aviation outfit to conduct biblical and church training; however, Harvest has an active program to train church leaders as well. “This training is conducted in partnership with Reading and Teaching International Ministries.”
We believe that by helping train pastors, who don’t normally have access to training, we will help preserve the Gospel and strengthen their churches.

Disaster Relief
Another workload for Harvest is disaster relief. We fly emergency flights of needed supplies to areas in the Caribbean and Central suffering from the effects of hurricanes, earthquakes, and other natural and man-made disasters. Most recently, Harvest’s pilots have flown multiple flights to the Bahamas, after a powerful hurricane, and to Haiti to alleviate the suffering caused by an incredibly destructive earthquake. These lifesaving flights are made possible by the generosity of YOU, our wonderful donors and supporters.
